It’s been a summer of celebrations at the seasons with some Major events happening at the new Presentation Centre on Highway 12 in Midland.

On May 28 and 29, The Seasons opened its doors to over 400 registrants for a sneak peak of the new Presentation Centre and to receive tours of The Seasons and Midland. Guests had an opportunity to tour the grounds of The Seasons in guided golf cart tours, which culminated on the shores of Little Lake. Presentations were provided by key members of The Seasons’ team including Mark Hanson, President of Hanson Development, landscape architect David Jonas of Terraplan, Rob Spanier of LWLP and Christine Brennan of Windstone Real Estate. At the Presentation Centre, registrants saw suite interiors by Figure3, The Seasons’ interior design team.

Registrants were also treated to a taste of Midland as they enjoyed a delicious onsite BBQ from local caterers FEAST in a tent filled with local art while enjoying live music courtesy of musician Aaron Garner.

Also representing Midland were some of Seasons’ partners; Quest Art School, Midland Golf and Country Club and Georgian College. Guests were also provided guided tours of Midland that included stops in the downtown core and at Little Lake Park.

Saturday, July 2 marked the offi cial opening of The Seasons and many guests came out on Canada Day long weekend to enjoy the festivities which included a ribbon cutting ceremony with local Councillors Stewart Strathearn, George MacDonald, Pat File and Jack Contin. Guests enjoyed a BBQ lunch courtesy of FEAST, live entertainment from Marlon Gibbons, golf cart tours and kids activities including balloons, tattoos and face painting by Midland’s Mable Moon. Local station 93.1 FM was onsite broadcasting live.
